1. Dirndlqueen (DQ) will not pass on any personal information to any third parties. DQ will only contact you if you requested to be included on the DQ mailing list, which announces new additions to the online shopping catalogue and tells you about upcoming events. DQ is registered with the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998.

2. DQ uses PayPal as a payment system for online purchases. The main benefit of this is that none of your financial details are revealed to DQ or any other third parties. Cheques can be accepted for UK customers only. If you would like to pay by cheque please contact DQ by email with the product code of the item you wish to purchase.

3. All prices quoted on the DQ website are inclusive of VAT. Postage and packaging costs are additional to the purchase price of each garment. Orders are only considered final once payment has been received and the customer has been notified by email from DQ that their order is accepted.

4. DQ will send items by an insured delivery service, which will require signature at point of delivery. DQ must be notified in advance if you wish someone other than yourself to accept delivery of an item. DQ ships to the UK and Europe only. If you live outside of Europe but wish to make a purchase please contact DQ by email before placing an order. DQ will make every effort to dispatch items within 15 working days of order being confirmed, which is the average time a Dirndlqueen dress takes in production, from order to finish. If, for any reason, items cannot be dispatched within 15 working days customers will be notified of any delays.

5. Returns Policy
If you are not satisfied with your Dirndlqueen dress due to reasons like fit, quality, fabric issue, etc, please contact us at heyyou@thedirndlqueen.com in the first instance so we can evaluate what has gone wrong and rectify the mistake. We will assess the issue on a case per case basis. The general principles are:

5a. Faulty Item
We do take very great care with the quality of our fabric and production. However, if the DQ dress that was sent to you was faulty, please contact us with details of what went wrong, and, if you can, email us a photograph of the fault on the dress. We will evaluate the fault and either rectify the mistake or make and send you a replacement dress, as long as you return the original DQ dress to us in its original condition, unworn, in its original packaging and with all tags intact. All shipping, including return shipping, will be free of charge to you.

5b. Wrong Fit
If the dress you ordered does not fit you, even though we followed the original size/measurements you ordered from our sizing guide, we will remake your order in the original fabrics you have chosen as long as you return the original DQ dress to us in perfect condition, with all tags intact and all original packaging.

Please, in the first instance, send us the exact body measurements that you have taken so that our tailors can evaluate which size will be right for you. You can find a guide as to how to take measurements and our sizing guide table here.

We only offer a single free remake on your first order. Because all our dresses are hand-made just for you, we can't do an unlimited exchange policy. We will do our best to help you get the right fit on your first order, including doing a free remake, but we would really ask you to be careful when requesting your remake and re-ordering your original Dirndldress to make sure you have the correct sizes.

We are always here to help if you are unsure or need suggestions. You can also email your measurements to us at heyyou@thedirndlqueen.com before you make your very first order and our tailors will match it with one of our UK/EUR sizes for you.

5c. Damage during shipping
If the package has been damaged during shipment, we will need you to send us a photograph of it for insurance purposes. We will replace the order as long as it has not been tampered (worn, washed, cleaned etc) and returned within one week upon receipt of the item. Please return the original DQ dress to us in original condition, with all tags intact and all original packaging in place. 

6. DQ uses professional cameras and lighting equipment in all photographs, but colours may vary according to screen resolution and quality.

7. In the event that a fabric is no longer available after the order has been received, you will be notified immediately and DQ will suggest alternative fabrics that are close your original choice.

8. All images on this website are the property of DQ and are not to be used by anyone else unless permission is granted.

9. All orders to be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Sole place of jurisdiction is London, United Kingdom.
